David J. Brown, Executive Vice President and Chief Preservation Officer of the National Trust for Historic PreservationDavid J. Brown, Executive Vice President and Chief Preservation Officer of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, has worked for more than three decades helping people protect, enhance and enjoy the places that matter in their communities. He oversees the Trust’s work in public policy, partnerships such as the Statewide and Local Partners and Main Street, the network of Regional Offices, and 29 Historic Sites. A native of Tennessee, David was among the first graduates of the Historic Preservation Program at Middle Tennessee State University and he has a Masters in Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the International National Trusts Organization.
